Leslie Fowler
Mental Health Counselor
LMHC
Leslie was first introduced to the field of mental health by her mother, a Mental Health RN for over 30 years. Leslie, however, did not intend to follow in her mother’s footsteps and instead pursued what would become her own 30+ year career as an LPN and Medical Sonographer.
It was after she adopted a five year old who had faced trauma when she started thinking about helping others as a therapist. She went on to complete a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University and a Masters in Professional Counseling from Troy University.
Since 2019, Leslie has been providing counseling for those struggling with substance use and co-occurring disorders. While able to provide quality care for various clients, Leslie has a special focus in helping those with trauma and is certified in EMDR and Accelerated Resolution Therapy. When not out serving her community, Leslie enjoys Alabama football and bonfires by the water while watching the sunset with her husband.
I love what I do. It’s not a job, it is a ministry for me.
